On our one-hour trail ride, our guide takes you to the La Lama Hills Trail. This trail offers a stress-free pace through the lower foothills of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Wander through the piñon and juniper forest along the gentle outer slopes of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Our focus here is to provide you and your family with a safe, gentle introduction into the world of Taos horseback riding.
Ride Locations: Cebolla Mesa, Red River Fish Hatchery
Enjoy a gentle walk through the Red River overlook while riding through the ponderosa pines near the Red River Fish Hatchery. Or let us lead the way while you lose yourself in the magic of the expansive Cebolla Mesa and the Rio Grande Gorge National Monument area. These rides are perfect for a sunny afternoon.
Choose from these two different and unique trails: Red River Fish Hatchery or Cebolla Mesa. Both offer memorable and rewarding horseback riding in New Mexico. Trail choice is on a first come, first served basis.
